TLDR : Answer Summary
Several community members confirmed that there is no insurance requirement for a Non-Immigrant O visa application. They noted that while insurance may be necessary for entering the country due to COVID-19, it is not relevant to the visa application itself. Additionally, one commenter mentioned inquiring about retirement extensions in ChonBuri.

There is no insurance requirement for a non O visa. Bar the insurance requirement to enter the country because of covid. But that’s visa irrelevant.
