Users report that a COVID-19 test is not required for extending a 60-day visa in Thailand. While there were concerns about a potential requirement, it appears that immigration has opted to drop this rule for visa renewals. Instead, standard documentation such as proof of address and completed application forms will still be necessary.
every time you do an extension you give evidence of your address anyway. The TM30 is only evidence you complied with the rules after you arrived in the country.
You’ll need this stuff. Not all offices have the same requirements so it may be slightly different depending on which of the 70+ offices your use.
A copy of your passport data page, a passport photo, proof of filing a TM30, a copy of your departure card (TM6) a copy of your latest entry stamp, a filled out TM7 (application form for extensions), a filled out STM2 (acknowledgement that you understand the rules for overstaying) and a filled out “I don’t want to leave because of Covid form” - I have no idea if it has an official name or number. And 1,900 baht. The forms are available at your local office. Most have places on site or nearby that can do the copies and photos.
usual form plus a covid specific form to fill out stating the reason you can't leave the country and a declaration you understand the overstay rules. In addition one passport sized photo, a copy of every page in your passport except blank pages, and proof of address.

Not yet. There is a lot of talk about it because something was published in the gazette saying it would be required as of Monday next week. But there is so much confusion about it that nobody really knows what will actually happen.
