Hello,

I need to apply for the 30 day extension next week (Aus passport) and someone posted in another group that we need this letter from our hotel- is this true? Has anyone got their extension done recently in Phuket (Phuket town is closed to me, but I hear Patong is easier/ quicker)?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The need for a hotel letter, specifically the TM30 document, is necessary for applying for a 30-day visa extension in Phuket, according to recent experiences shared by others. It is advised to check the document requirements based on the immigration office you plan to visit.

yep you need that letter from where you're staying to get a 30 day extension in Phuket.

This is a copy of an address registration on line. Or you do the tm 30, or your landlord registered you on line. In this case phuket immigration ask you to show or the printscreen .
