TLDR : Answer Summary
The applicant is inquiring about the requirements for a non-O visa based on marriage, specifically whether the $50,000 COVID cover is necessary and if the insurance should cover the entire 90-day stay or just 30 days. According to responses, the COVID cover is necessary for the visa application and insurance must cover the entire length of stay, unless the applicant has a return ticket within 30 days, in which case 30 days of insurance may suffice.

If you have a return ticket within 30 days of arrival, you'd be fine with 30 days of insurance. Most people book a refundable ticket and then cancel it after they arrive.
