TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can apply for the 90-Day Non-Immigrant (Non-O) visa in the UK if you meet the eligibility requirements. It's recommended to check the UK Thai Embassy's website for specific application requirements, which may vary based on your purpose for obtaining the visa, such as marriage to a Thai national, being a parent of a Thai child, volunteering, retirement, or other reasons.

well, it is not a visa to get "married" to a Thai (marry a Thai ?). You have to be married yet ๐Ÿ˜„

the plan is to get married during my stay then apply for a marriage visa. Just not sure if the initial visa needs to be a Non O or Tourist visa. Maybe either will suffice?

you can't get a Non-O visa based on the fact you might marry a thai once you get here. Take

's advice, get a single entry tourist visa, come in, get married, THEN apply for first a 90 day Non-O visa and after that a year extension of stay

@Jamie *******
you need to start out with a single entry Tourist Visa. It will give you 60 days admitted stay plus 30 days extension. You will have to get married within the first 75 days after entry, because in order to apply for the conversion to the in-country 90-days Non-Imm-O visa based on marriage with a Thai, there need to be 15 days left on your original visa. Once issued, you can apply for the 1-year extension of stay based on marriage 30 days before the Non-O visa expires. You will need to fulfill the financial requirements (400,000 THB in th bank or proof of monthly income of minimum 40,000 THB)
