Hello, everybody! My husband, baby, and I will be going to Penang next week to apply for a Non-B visa for me (teaching) and 2 Non-O visas for my family members to follow me. We are currently looking at this checklist of requirements, and are curious about this wording: “The document must be authenticated by the embassy of its country of origin.” Does this mean we have to take these two documents to our embassy for additional authentication? I am only concerned because we did have to do that for our marriage certificate in the past.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster is inquiring about the requirement that documents must be authenticated by the embassy of their country of origin when applying for a Non-B visa for teaching and Non-O visas for their family.
