Hello to All of the group!

Can someone with certain knowledge let me know whether the ISSUE DATE of the required BANK LETTER, for the purpose of EXTENSION for NON-O RETIREMENT, can be a few days PRIOR to the appointment, considering that the branch director's signature is required and, by past experience, all banks ask "a few days" to issue this letter?

My Branch is DIVISION 1 Bangkok

My Appointment time is 9 AM

Considering that my bank in CW opens at 8.30 can someone tell me HOW can I get all the following (which are required to be dated all ON THE SAME DAY of the extension) done before my appointment at 9 AM?

- bank passbook update plus

- bank transaction list plus

- photocopies of bank passbook

- bank letter plus (?)

Any suggestions?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The bank letter required for the NON-O Retirement visa extension can be dated up to 7 days prior to the appointment. Expats suggest that it's advisable to obtain the letter and complete bank transactions a few days in advance to ensure all necessary documents are ready for the appointment. Additionally, it is possible to update the bank passbook and perform transactions using ATM or copy shops before the branch opens, as well as have an active transaction on the same day to meet bank requirements.

Just make sure when you make the transaction on the day, that it doesn't impact your 800k+ balance requirement.

For CW , as Ellie said I’ve never had a problem there getting the letter a few days before I’ve gone there . From any branch … usually wait about 30 minutes .

CW office accepts bank letters up to 7 days old (including the issued date). Get the letter and transaction in advance.

You can update your bankbook anytime on the day after midnight. You can deposit/withdraw and update your bankbook on ATM/CDM/PUMs before the branch opens.

There are copy shops one floor under and they are open before 8:30.

An appointment at 9 am wouldn't be an issue.
