Can someone extend their 30-day visa-exempt stay in Thailand for another 30 days?
Hi all if someone enters Thailand 30 days visa exempt, when in Thailand could she extend for another 30 days,I said she couldn't correct me if im wrong.

Firstly,check with the airline they are flying with,as they may be refused boarding without a visa, or they will need to show a ticket to show they are leaving Thailand within the 30 days.

OPGraham Hayward no if you planning a extension and you stay at your girl friend home she has to fill it in for you, its just to let immigration know where you are,

you can get ONE only 30-days touristic extension on top of 30-days visa exempt admitted stay. However if you actually get granted 30 more days, this depends on your recent 12-18 months touristic stay history. From a certain number of accumulated days onward, the officer might only issue a 7-days extension, and tell you to get a proper visa fit for your purpose the next time

not ANY office. You need to go to the one in the district you’re staying at, where your TM30 is filed. You need to be specific with answering these sort of questions.Thaimer ******

aha. Onda tako samo nemoj nikako ici raditi extension u Bangkoku. Daleko najvece guzve tamo. Radi na drugim lokacijama. Meni najbrze bilo kad sam radio u Tratu i na Phanganu je bilo dosta brzo.Najbolje ti je negdje gdje ima najmanje turista ovisno kuda se budes kretala

hvala :) ma problem mi je s vizom jer idem u dva navrata, a ukupno je duze od 60 dana (thailand cca 15, laos, pa thailand jos nekih 55 dana) probat cu kod drugog ulaska u Bangkoku odmah produziti, ako ne gdje me vec zadesi da budem tjedan dana do istekaThaimer ******

ako ostajes duže od 30 dana prakticnije i jeftinije ti je da napravis odmah vizu prije nego ode. Ispasti ce te jeftinije ( 35€ vs 55€ extension) i neces gubiti vrijeme na extension jer to ce ti uzeti 2-5h ovisno gdje odes. Svaki od tih immigration ureda ima svoja nepisana pravila. Kod nekih mozes raditi extension kad udes na manje od 45 dana do isteka vize, a neki dopustaju samo onima kojima je ostalo max 7 dana do isteka.

CopperFlamingo7900 because it’s literally any immigration office. Meaning they can do it any part of Thailand. They don’t need to be specifically in Bangkok to make extensions. They can do it at any place they end up when extensions time is due.
