TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about extending their son's 45-day visa in Chiang Mai and whether they can use their address on the extension form along with a TM30 receipt. The comments highlight the need for a TM30 submission for the son, indicating that if the user is renting, the landlord must register him within 24 hours of arrival. If the user owns the condo, they must also register him within the same timeframe and cannot use an existing TM30. Additionally, one comment suggests arranging a hotel booking for the son as an alternative.
If you are renting then within 24 hours of him arriving, your landlord needs to register him. If you own your condo, and he is staying with you, then you need to register him within 24 hours of him arriving. He can not use your TM30
