We will be returning home to Thailand on 19th July from the UK. My kids have dual nationality and hence 2 passports ( UK & Thai). The problem is that their UK passport expires on 31st July which they use to leave the UK. Will they still be allowed to fly? They use their Thai passport to enter Thailand and no issue there. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is returning to Thailand on July 19 with their children who hold dual nationality (UK & Thai). Their concern is whether their children's UK passport, expiring on July 31, will allow them to leave the UK. Comments suggest that as long as they show both passports when departing, they should be fine. They should enter Thailand using their Thai passports without issue. However, some comments caution about potential problems re-entering the UK, requiring visas if their UK passport is not renewed.
I will renew their UK passports in Thailand when I get there. I know there will be more paperwork involved there but a lot cheaper too. Was going to set me back nearly 250 pounds here, plus the hassle of driving to London (100 miles) to deliver.
