Is it better to apply for a DTV visa using a Taiwan passport or a U.S. passport from Taiwan?

Context: I have dual nationality.

Hello! Can anyone advise if it’s better to apply for the DTV visa using my Taiwan passport rather than my U.S. passport, especially if I’m applying FROM Taiwan? I’ve been using my U.S. passport to travel in and out of Thailand, but I wonder if using my Taiwan passport might offer any advantages in this application process.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether applying for a DTV visa to Thailand using their Taiwan passport rather than their U.S. passport would be more advantageous, especially when applying from Taiwan. Comments suggest that the visa will be issued to the passport used for the application, with no possibility for switching after submission. Additionally, one commenter notes that Taiwan is generally strict, regardless of the passport used, while another doubts that the choice of passport would significantly impact the application.

Whichever passport you use that will be the passport the visa is issued to and you cannot swap.
