TLDR : Answer Summary
A friend from the Philippines is concerned about his visa expiring on June 5th and wants to know if he can extend it tomorrow. Comments indicate that although he is technically one day late, there may not be a penalty. However, if he stays past his expiration date, he will incur fines, especially if he does not register his residence or depending on his visa type. Extensions are possible but they may require a 500 baht fine for overstay plus fees for the extension itself.

Only if you fly out at International Airport. Land borders and Immigration offices let you pay the 500 Thb a day.

that totally depends if they are staying in a hotel and/or getting an extension at an immigration office that requires TM.30 forms for people staying at private residences.

It depends on his type of Visa if he can get an Extension of Stay. He is on overstay, so will face a fine of 500 Thb a day.
