Good day, we have a friend visiting from China for 7days and we just found out that she can only enter on an e-visa. Is this true? We have lease agreements and can provide any necessary documents. She lands on Monday. What is the correct process, we are worried she might not be able to enter Thailand

As Lloyd said; Chinese passport holders BUY a Visa On Arrival when they land here for 2000baht and it's good for 15 days.

They need to show

proof of 10K baht or the equivalent in CASH,

proof of onward travel in 15 days

proof of lodging.

Believe me they won't even let her on the plane if she can't get in to thailand

now they wanted to, they could use the VFS Global website and buy the Visa On Arrival online BEFORE they come here

BUT it says 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗢𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝘆 𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝟮𝟰-𝟳𝟮 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀
