i am currently in dubai now..i intend to go for tourist visa.. but i see 1 of the required document is proof of accomodation for 2 months .. if i take tourist visa , do i still need to apply for thailand pass to go in?

You don't need proof of accommodations past your 1st night.

As a Chinese national you can only apply for a visa at a Thai embassy inside China

Yes, everyone needs thailandpass reguardless of visa, even returning Thais.
