Can I use invested funds for my Thai visa application instead of liquid cash?

Hi all.

I want to apply from Italy.

No problem for the 500k.

My money are all invested through a broker (Interactive Brokers and Scalable).

Do you think it could be a problem?

Just in case I can sell some investments and buy again later, but I could loose money.

Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus among community members is that investments held in a brokerage account do not fulfill the financial requirements for a Thai visa application. Funds must be in liquid cash form, typically shown in a standard bank account, to avoid any issues during the application process.

Investments don't count as proof of finance. Has to be in cash on a private bank account

Funds need to be liquid, and accessible cash
