TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the possibility of using a retirement visa with multiple re-entries for border crossings by land (to Myanmar, Laos, or Cambodia) to avoid the 90-day reporting requirement in Thailand. Comments confirm that as long as the visa has a multiple re-entry stamp, it is permissible to make a border run by land. However, some caution that this method can be costlier compared to simply visiting an immigration office to fulfill the 90-day reporting obligation.

yes you can bounce out and back in to avoid doing a 90 day report.
BUT depending on the country you are stamping in and out of (which you HAVE to do) it might cost you more in travel and visa fees to do that than it would just going to the immigration office and filing a 90 day report..

I have to guess you have a big stamp in your passport with in the second line the text: Extension of Stay is permitted up to ../../.. , which is not a VISA, and another stamp with the text Multiple Re-Entry. If this is correct you can do a border run by land.
