Is a normal stamp and DTV document enough for my next entry into Thailand?

Hello guys
I was in the Philippines in Manila, and I got my DTV done successfully!! It took a lil while because I had a new bank account and had to wait for another bankstatement, since they want to see 3 months.

So finally I got to enter Thailand and I only got a normal stamp in my passport with a lil handwriting, I was surprised. I thought I would get some paper/ extra document for the Visa.

I additionally have the dtv document QR code in my phone.

Is this enough?

Now I’m scared they will say something next time I will enter.

All visas get a stamp that looks the same. The type of visa and period of stay is what matters. BTW, in your case the visa is the PDF file. Anytime they ask you to show your visa, you'll need it (for example to create a TrueMoney account or get a regular phone number, etc).

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.

I did mine in Manila too and had to wait for my third month to hit.

It's nice that they do that - some embassies cancel the application if the conditions aren't met.

The stamp is all you get so just make sure the date is right as sometimes they get it wrong.

Always advisable to have your documents easily accessible as they can and do ask to see the from time to time. That's straight from 2 BKK IOs mouths to me!

Sticker visas are no longer issued so that single page PDF is your visa and the stamp is your permission to stay.

Is your stamp for 180 days? You do not need anything else. No need to be scared of your next entry.

That is the way it is with DTV. Just a snall stamp looking like an ordinary entry stamp. As long as the date in the stamp is 180 days away., everything is as it should. Dont forget your 90 day report in 3 months! :)
