Hello! I have a company document with a government stamp for a non-b visa that is stamped and dated August 22nd.

I was told this needs to be taken to a consulate outside of Thailand to apply for my first non-b 3 month visa while my work permit gets processed.

Has anyone been able to use that document beyond 30 days after it was dated?

Secondly, has anyone had any success submitting this for their first non-b visa in either the Thai consulate in Kiev Ukraine or Istanbul Turkey in the last few months?

I can use this to apply for my visa in Vietnam but it would be more than 30 days after it was dated. Fingers crossed that it's valid longer.

Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the validity period of a company document for applying for a Non-B visa, specifically asking if it can be used over 30 days after its issuance. They are also seeking experiences from others who have submitted their documents in the Thai consulates in Kiev, Ukraine, or Istanbul, Turkey.

Kiev or Istanbul are not the most populair Thai Consulates to visit for people staying inside Thailand and need to apply for a Non Immigrant B visa at a nearby consulate. You can ask the question again in twenty minutes but it will only be deleted. Just wait for experienced people, if there are any to reply

Also, I haven't been here long but I can tell you put a lot of energy and effort into maintaining this resource and that has not gone unnoticed. Thank you!

Hi James,

I reached out to both consulates. The both say they offer the visa I need (In Turkey it has to be at the Ankara consulate) but I'd imagine that it's much the same way it is in Asia where you have better "luck" more consistently with some vs others.

Seems that finding that experience first hand is a long shot.

@Audrey *******
how about contacting the Consulates you asked about and get their answer?

There are two questions here and I felt as though the second one may have been lost underneath the first one. No harm intended but I don't think the second part of the question is getting much visibility on it's own. Nonetheless, I realize they're both relatively obscure questions and if they can't be answered here then it might come down to in person trial and most likely error.

You have a company document with a stamp. As far as I have seen at Thai Consulates or Embassies to apply for the Non Immigrant B visa you need a pile of company documents and all stamped and signed. Just one A4 document is not enough to get this visa.

Hi Robert,

I do have a pile of company documents. 36 pages in total.

The one document of concern is from the Receipt Form from the Department of Employment which is dated
****
.

Do you know anyone who might have first hand experience in knowing how many days I have to submit these documents after the date on this receipt form?

I was told that in nearby consulates in Asia it is generally thought to be 30 days but could be longer in other consulates.

My hope is that I can submit this around 45-60 days after the date on the receipt because of my travel schedule.
