Hi, I wondered if you may be able to help me. I am in BKK and on a two month tourist visa. I have been here 1 month already and have just 4 weeks left. I already had a trip to Thailand once this year and so had extended from 2 months to 3 months tourist visa a while back this year before going back to the uk for a while and coming back again for this holiday. So an extension has already been done this year.
I have just been offered a job in an international Kindergarten in BKK and the interviewer said that they would be able organise my non B visa within the month i have left on my tourist visa. My tourist visa runs out on 8th September. Do you think this is realistic or possible?
As i was about to go to Laos this Tuesday for an ED visa to do a Thai course so i could stay but the interviewer said i dont have to go to Laos and that they can process a non B in that time (within a month).
Does anyone have any experience of a non B visa for someone already in Thailand? and can extensions be done a 2nd time in a year within Thailand if the non B ran late? Last time it was in Chiangmai for the month extension and this time I am in BKK
Thanks :)
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently on a two-month tourist visa in Bangkok and has been offered a job at an international kindergarten. They ask if it is possible to process a Non-B visa during the last month of their tourist visa, which expires on September 8. Users in the comments confirm that a 30-day extension for a different visa type is possible, and upon obtaining the necessary documents from the employer, applying for the Non-B visa within the month is feasible. They can also apply for a one-year extension of stay once the Non-B is obtained.
