If I get a 60 day visa. Can I travel to Singapore for few days. Then return to Thailand with no issue. I have my ticket bought to and from Thailand. Thinking about making a side trip to Singapore
Answer summary
If you hold a 60-day visa for Thailand, whether you can return after a trip to Singapore depends on the type of visa. A Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) allows you to leave Thailand and return for another 60 days without issues, while a Single Entry Tourist Visa (SETV) does not permit re-entry after exiting. If you have a SETV, you would have to enter Thailand visa-exempt, receiving a 30-day stamp. If planning to travel frequently, a METV is recommended, and you may also consider applying for a re-entry permit to maintain your visa validity.

If you get a Multple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) you don’t need a re-entry anything. You leave the country and when you return you get stamped in for another 60 days. But, if you get a Single Entry Tourist Visa (SETV) you will not be able to return after you leave. You will have to return Visa Exempt which will give you 30 days.
You can apply for a multi-entry tourist visa too! I believe it’s valid for 6 months, but you need to exit the country every 60 days plus you can apply for a 30 day extension at the immigration office)
