Hey , so im coming to Thailand December 10th for 30 days
When I return in January, im intending to apply for my DTV visa
My question is , will it be ok as I will still be on a 60 day visa (from the December one) or as I leave it will be closed off
Just dont want to apply if its still running ?
Hope this makes sense
Cheers π»

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster is planning to visit Thailand for 30 days starting December 10th, and then return in January to apply for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV). The key clarification from the community is that the 60-day visa (which is a single entry visa) will be canceled once the user leaves Thailand. Additionally, the consensus is that one cannot apply for a DTV while physically in Thailand; the application needs to be submitted from outside the country, either by applying before arrival or at a Thai embassy or consulate in a neighboring country after leaving Thailand.
You cannot apply for any visa whilst you are in Thailand. Either do it before you go from your home country, or do it in a country regionally to Thailand after your 60 days expires.
you can only apply and get a DTV EβVisa from a Thai Embassy/Thai Consulate and Thai Embassies/Thai Consulates are outside Thailand
also, among other requirements, Thai Embassies/Thai Consulates are gonna ask for proof, evidence of current location (outside Thailand and inside whatever country/area any particular Thai Embassy/Thai Consulate has specific jurisdiction over)
because I had the holiday booked for a while , and since booking it , tables have turned now and im want to come over in say march , I just have few things this end to sort out
