Hi,

Short question. Can any immigration transfer the extension of stay to a new passport or only the immigration where I did the extension? I’m talking about 1 year based on retirement.

The OP has a retirement extension he was asking about getting that stamp moved to a new passport. For general stuff like a tourist or visa exempt extension then you can use any office. For the OP it’s a different story.

Usually it has to be the office that issued the stamp. Check with your local office as they may do it but I doubt it.
