Hi guys,

I have ED visa and currently studying in a university in Thailand. I will finish my studies in this university in December but like to get admission in another university of Thailand. Do I need to go out from Thailand and come back? Please note that I am from Afghanistan and very difficult to go to Afghanistan and come back and also am not eligible to get Thai visa from Laos or Malaysia or... . Please advise me how to get the visa with out going out from Thailand.

All you have to do is to go get your admission in your new school, then ask your present school to cancel your student visa with them and submit the visa cancellation letter to your new school for the visa processing.

I have seen people on ED visa extensions (for attending a private school) switch schools without leaving the country to get another ED visa. The university you're going to enroll in will know the procedure

I am guessing as long as there is no break between study. The problem might be that he will finish one semester but the new one won't start for weeks/months.
