Can I switch from an Education visa to a Non-O visa while staying in Thailand?

I’m currently in Thailand on an Education visa, but I’m now looking into the possibility of switching to a Non-O visa to follow family.

I was wondering if anyone here has experience with this kind of visa change specifically, is it possible to change visa status from an ED visa to a Non-O while staying inside Thailand, or would I need to leave the country and apply from abroad?

Also, if anyone knows a reliable agency that can assist with this process locally (preferably without having to exit the country), I’d really appreciate any recommendations or advice.

Thanks so much in advance

Follow family? What sort of visa does your family have and what is your relationship and age?

well that would be a guardian visa and you put 500k in a Thai bank and you've got a visa until they are 18 or so.
