Yes, Oman air tried to stop me despite having valid extension of stay due to marriage. Finally got a supervisor and had to sign a disclaimer saying I would be responsible if denied entry

no issue doing that at all. 🙂 Make sure you show your air carrier you're entering thailand WITH a valid visa when you check in if they say anything.. Onward travel is not required..
