Will I face a fine for filing a TM30 late after returning to Thailand?

I’m returning to Chiang Mai on Friday at 18.00 with Thai wife after 2 week vacation in Vietnam.

(Yes, I know, I picked a good time)!

This is the first time I’ve been out of Thailand since before Covid,

Going straight back to her house. I’ve been registered there for years. I know I have to do a new TM30, but, she will not file online (doesn’t like computers).

My question…will we be fined or have any aggravation on Monday morning when we go to immigration to reregister, as, obviously, they’ll be closed when we arrive and through the weekend.

Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the potential fines or issues related to the delayed filing of a TM30 after returning to Chiang Mai from Vietnam. They noted that their spouse would not file online due to discomfort with computers, and they would be returning after the immigration office closed for the weekend. A community member assured them that filing the TM30 the day after their return, when the immigration office reopened, would not result in any problems or fines.

Nope no problem at all going and filing a TM30 the next day the immigration office is open if you get back on a day they're closed (weekends or holidays)
