Hi

I'm on a s/e tourist visa.

The 60 days expire on sunday. I can then extent for a further 30.

2 questions:

1- as the visa renewal falls on a Sunday, is it acceptable to renew on Monday.

2- I want to stay in the country till mid September, what options are available?

Thanks

Harry

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a tourist visa that expires on a Sunday and is considering renewing it on the following Monday, as well as inquiring about options to remain in Thailand until mid-September. Comments confirm that renewing on Monday is acceptable, but it may be busy at Immigration. One option mentioned is to apply for another single-entry tourist visa from a neighboring country after the extension.

Another last minute call. Yes you can extend monday, but it would be busy at Immigration so be prepared. After the extension you can go to a neighbor country to apply for another Single entry Tourist visa.

Thanks. Is there no issues doing out/in flights?

I remember a few years ago they wouldn't allow more than 1 b2b visa-less entry.

Re your option for a stay up to September. You can do OUT/IN at airport for 30days, get a 30day extension, already 60days. Or do a border bounce to another country, also give you 30days, extendable by another 30days. Or get a Tourist Visa, 60days which too is extendable by further 30days, total 90days.

So just to confirm, because my visa falls on a Sunday, if I go on a Monday, it will not be classed as overstay?
