Hi just a quick enquiry.. on uk passport And currently on the 60 day tourist visa.. when I extended 30day exempt stamp it was at laksi square, is it also there for the 60 day visa? And are there any Thai holidays on 7th and 8th December?

If it expires on the 9th which is a Saturday.. can I go the following Monday? Or best to go before? Thanks πŸ™πŸΌ

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about extending their 60-day tourist visa in Thailand, specifically whether they can do so at Laksi Square as they did previously for their 30-day exemption stamp. Additionally, they seek information on Thai holidays on December 7th and 8th, and if they can visit the immigration office on the following Monday after their visa expiration on Saturday, December 9th. Responses clarify that extensions for a tourist visa are processed at the Chaengwattana immigration office, not Laksi Square. The importance of visiting before the holiday period is also stressed due to potential delays.

Can be extended for an additional 30 days. Recommended to go before the end of the official holiday on December 5, 2023.

There is a holiday on Dec 5th and on Dec 11th, SO I would recommend you go BEFORE your current stamp runs out, not wait and show up on Tuesday the 12th when they open back up after a LONG holiday weekend

No, if you have a real tourist visa from a thai consulate (where you get stamped in for 60 days) you do not go to IT Square Laksi Plaza for the extension

You go to the main immigration office at the government complex (Building B) at Chaengwattana Road

You want section J for tourist visa extension

sorry to just jump in the middle of this discussion. Is there also an appointment website for Chiang Mai immigration? (The link above doesn't look like it's for Chiang Mai)
