Hi there, is it still the case that if I renew my passport in my home country, I can re-enter Thailand by showing the Non-Immigrant B Visa and Re-Entry Permit in my old passport? Also I may be out of Thailand for 3 months before I re-enter with the new passport, is there a time frame? My visa and re-entry stamp will still be valid until later in the year. Thanks for your help

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can re-enter Thailand using your Non-Immigrant B Visa and Re-Entry Permit in your old passport after renewing it. It is important to carry both your old and new passports when traveling. Ensure that you are stamped correctly upon entry, reflecting the valid dates of your visa and re-entry permit. You may be out of Thailand for up to three months as long as your visa and re-entry stamp remain valid.

As above then when you get a chance go to Immigration to get your stamps transferred

Carry both Old and New Passport with you when you travel to Thailand. On arrival, show the Thai Immigration offices both of them. And make sure you are STAMPED in correctly to the ending date of your reentry permit and visa extension.
