Well my tourist visa runs out on the 26th september.Got flight to the UK,but nowhere to go.

Done my 60 days arrival stamp ,then 30 day stamp at immigration and then went to laos and got another 60 days and then again immigration for another 30 =180.

My question is if I left thailand to go to laos for say 3 days will I be allowed back in thailand?

Just yes or no would be good.

O yes I have a street food shop and property with my thai girlfriend.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether leaving Thailand for 3 days to go to Laos would allow them to re-enter Thailand, given their previous visa history. Multiple commenters express that the answer is uncertain and ultimately depends on the discretion of the immigration officer at the border. They caution that the user's repeated entry attempts may raise red flags with immigration authorities.

Nobody can give you a yes or no answer, except the immigration office who will be standing in front of you, entry will be entirely at their discretion. But be prepared for some questions.

Yes

It's her property only

Doing 180 days basically back to back is a huge red flag 🚩 or 3 ( 3rd entry ).

Try your reasoning to us that you would try on the IO upon arrival suggesting you're not a tourist - as you have no.long term visa.

Maybe an agent can see a way around it however I doubt it.

@Ian *******
‘maybe’? 100% an agent can solve this

One question, having just seen another post of yours. Are you actually on an METV (Multiple Entry Tourist Visa) and if so what date does that expire?

no,my passport just got stamped when I first arrived in April.

@Michael *******
ok, in that case I'd say you are done other than the possibility of using a border bounce company as your only hope. Time to obtain a proper visa

yea its difficult because all my money i brought over 1.6 million baht has gone on the buisness,land and a small property for the land.I have a flight booked to return to England on Wednesday.I dont want to go,but I need to go back and earn some money,because I am going through a TEFL course at the moment to be an English teacher here in Thailand.And getting the right visa this time will probably be a good idea aswell.🤦

@Michael *******
A TEFL is acceptable for online tutoring and I think Im right in saying that if the teaching platform and students are outside Thailand, you can work for a platform. I think you can apply for a DTV this way too as I asked about it and I was told I would need up to date payment proof from the teaching company. I havent tutored for over a year so my acount isnt up to date

That said you will more likely need a 'real' visa moving forward and if you have ties to Thailand in the form investment and a relationship

@Michael *******
do you have a bachelors degree? If you don't its going to be difficult to get a teaching position, TEFL is not enough. What the right visa is depends on your situation. If you want to come and teach you will first need to find a job and get your employer to provide the paperwork for you to apply for a Non-B visa

I have a friend over here in thailand who has been teaching English for 21 years,He now teaches the TEFL course and also part of his position is to supply teachers to schools.he also has his own youtube channel that dedicates his life to teaching in thailand,advice,information about TEFL,hints and also some classroom teaching which he does,so no you dont need a bachelors degree.

@Michael *******
times change. You need to have a bachelors degree now to get the Non-B visa that allows you to work inside Thailand as a teacher. Here's a link to the requirements for immigration to issue a visa in Thailand, look at 5.5 and 6.6

thanks for the link,but my tutor assures me i dont need a bachelors degree as he wouldn't be doing the training with me.

@Michael *******
I'd strongly advise you to go and get independent advice. It's not about the training it's what you do after you are trained. It might be worth you looking through some of the jobs here and seeing the requirements

Get married and get a Spousal Visa...
John **********
Nobody can give you a yes or a no. It will be entirely up to the immigration officer you will stand in front of. What I would suggest is you find a border bounce company and see if they will take you, they won't do so unless they can get you back in. It sounds like it's time for you to start looking for a long term visa though

I'd recommend hiring a professional land border transport company for the border run, and my personal guess is you're at high risk of being denied another entry on your own now, but everything is as you know up to the IO you’re dealing with. Next time get a six months multiple entries tourist visa in UK before you go.
Stuart *********
No one can answer that with any authority as it’s completely up to the individual immigration officer you hand your passport to. Their call.

You’d certainly be high on the red flag list as you’re not doing what a typical tourist would do. You’ve maxed out two visa exempt entries and are trying to do another.

Be prepared to be denied entry and sent back. It may not happen but it possibly will.
Steve ****
Maybe. Maybe not. Depends on the IO in front of you.
