Hello everyone, I need advice, according to the visa-free rules I can enter twice a calendar year, I entered Thailand on January 13, 2025, left on January 22 and entered again on January 26, on January 28 2025 I flew home, on April 11 I want to fly again, and so I'm wondering if I can still use the visa-free regime or do I need to open a multiple-entry visa? I would be grateful for your help 🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of entering Thailand visa-free for a third time in the same calendar year after entering twice in January 2025. Several commenters clarify that there are no strict rules on the number of entries under the visa-exempt status, emphasizing that the duration of stay matters more than the number of entries. They suggest that as long as the user hasn't overstayed or spent excessive time in Thailand previously, they should be able to enter again without needing a multiple-entry visa.

That two entries was for land border entries, but it ended last July.

There is no rule that says you can only enter 2 times per year on visa exempt. They care far more about your total time in Thailand than how many times you have entered. Since you've only been in Thailand for less than 2 weeks, you will probably be fine. It looks like you are just doing a lot of regional travel.

If you have spent a lot of time in Thailand in 2024, then you might have reason to worry.

Thank you very much, you calmed me down a little 🙏, I really travel a lot, I was in Thailand in August 2024 but only for six days, I stayed for five days and flew out, after Vietnam I flew into Bangkok to fly home, from Thailand I always go somewhere to a neighboring country, but I return to Bangkok to fly home since Bangkok is the most convenient place to fly home
