TLDR : Answer Summary
You can report your visa 15 days before the due date and up to 7 days after. It is recommended to do it online, as it simplifies the process. To sync the dates of you and your son's reporting, you could report yours late after filing his on time to avoid a fine.

Do it online then it doesn't matter. Takes a few minutes at most

Just don't file your report when it's due and then the next time you go to file your sons do yours late. You'll get a 2000baht fine BUT you'll get them both sync'd so they're due at the same time

Only 15 days early, but there's no drama, the online reporting is working again, so you can do them from anywhere

15 days before, 7 days after the due date.
