TLDR : Answer Summary
A Swedish citizen in Thailand wishing to extend their stay for another 30 days after entering on a visa exemption can do so at the immigration office. The extension costs approximately 1,900 Thai baht. It’s essential to clarify whether the individual has a visa on arrival, which cannot be extended, or a visa exemption entry stamp, which can be extended.

This is the difference between a real visa on arrival stamp and a 30 day visa exempt stamp.

If you have the one on the bottom you do NOT have a visa on arrival you have a visa exempt entry and you CAN extend it for 30 days at the immigration office

Michael Larsson you CANNOT extend a 'visa-on-arrival' for 30 days :/

A visa-on-arrival is SOLD to people from 21 countries when they arrive in thailand for 2000baht and it's good for 15 days.

IF you actually have a "visa on arrival" it cost you 2000baht when you stamped into the country and was for 15 days only the answer is NO you cannot extend it.

Now if you're just not dialed into what stamp you got when you came here and IF you actually showed up here without having bought a visa from a thai consulate before hand and were stamped in for FREE for 30 days you have a 30 day visa EXEMPT entry stamp and that you CAN extend for 30 more days at the immigration office
