Can I obtain a Residence Certificate in Thailand with a Multi Entry Tourist Visa (METV)?
Hello and thank you all for the valuable input in this group. Question: I'm staying in Thailand from mid-October to the end of March and living in my own property. If I enter with a METV (Multi Entry Tourist Visa), will I receive a Residence Certificate from Immigration – for example, for buying a car?

You should be able to obtain a residence certificate. The only province I know of where you wouldn't be able to is Nonthaburi since they require that you have submitted a 90 day report before you can get a residence certificate, which isn't possible on a tourist visa.
