Do I Need a TM30 Registration to Extend My Tourist Visa in Thailand?

ORIGINAL POSTERArrived on a tourist visa which I intend to extend at immigration department after 2 months. I am staying with my husband who has a work visa, in a serviced apartment. I have not been registered as staying there i.e. TM30. Will i be asked for this when i try and extend my visa?

In Bangkok you use the Cheang Wattana Immigration Office and they do not ask for the TM30 address registration for people extending their 30 day Visa Exempt Entry or Tourist Visa.
