Arrived on a tourist visa which I intend to extend at immigration department after 2 months. I am staying with my husband who has a work visa, in a serviced apartment. I have not been registered as staying there i.e. TM30. Will i be asked for this when i try and extend my visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question revolves around whether the TM30 registration is necessary for extending a tourist visa in Thailand. Comments suggest it may not be required in some cases, particularly at the Cheang Wattana Immigration Office in Bangkok, but situations may vary. Additionally, it is noted that as the spouse of a work visa holder, the individual might be eligible for a Non-O visa instead.

In Bangkok you use the Cheang Wattana Immigration Office and they do not ask for the TM30 address registration for people extending their 30 day Visa Exempt Entry or Tourist Visa.
