Hi everyone, just a quick question. Are you allowed to visit schools for information as well as visit immigration agencies for information, whilst travelling on a tourist visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you are allowed to visit schools and immigration agencies for information while traveling on a tourist visa in Thailand. It's important to have a valid tourist visa, but you can look for job opportunities or gather information without violating the terms of your tourist visa.
Yep, not a problem at all. You can LOOK for a job on any entry stamp or visa or amnesty :P You just can't WORK at one without the correct visa or work permit
I know a guy got done for going behind his own bar to change a CD or something. He had a WP but that was as a civil engineer building the skytrain (that far back). The bar staff hated him and grassed him up - they were waiting in the bar for him to make a mistake. :-D
. Ah ok. Yes many people come on a tourist visa to find a job, and then change to a B visa with a work permit. So of course you can apply for jobs and will obviously have to visit immigration if you're successful. Good luck with your venture!
