Hi, when getting a visa extension on a tourist visa, 30days or 60day(covid pass) depending on which one they allow.

The immigration office (Tak province for reference) said I need hotel booking form.

Can this hotel booking only be 1 night on the day I hope to extend my visa? As I plan on staying with my friends for the rest of my time.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a tourist visa extension in Thailand, it's important to note that the immigration office requires proof of accommodation, such as a hotel booking. In this case, a one-night booking for the day of the extension should suffice. However, if you plan to stay with friends, they must register your stay with immigration, typically through the TM30 form, which is a notification of your residence.

Staying with friends is ok but they need to register you as staying there with immigration (they should be doing this anyway)

What they are asking for is the TM30. If you show a TM30, that would work
