When filling out the TDAC form it asks for a return flight date but I have a retirement visa and not going back in the near future , do you leave that blank?
Answer summary
When filling out the TDAC form, if you have a retirement visa and do not plan to return soon, you can leave the 'return flight date' field blank. It is not a required field, particularly if you have not clicked into it; doing so may make it mandatory. Community members confirm that leaving it blank is acceptable, and if you do encounter issues, it is best to refer to the official requirements which state that only certain fields are mandatory.

In April I tried to fill up the TDAC but it didn't accept without a return date though I have a Non Imm O spouse visa. Then I mentioned a date for nothing but being accepted.

Only a moron could design this form to include retirees.

A smart person, not a buffalo, would have a field for your retirement Visa details and everything else would be blank.

But not in a communist style one size fits all country.

They love paper, god knows where they store it, but have every single detail stored digitally.

Comical

It has a red asterix. I had problems with this adding my kids. They are in education full time with ed visas. I had to improvise..

your problem is: if you have already clicked onto that departure field, IT BECOMES MANDATORY to fill out. If you don't click on it, it remains not required to fill out

There is NOTHING that says you are required to fill in your departure from Thailand . . . . . . . . HERE is what it says on the OFFICIAL Thai government TDAC website: "What information is required to complete TDAC?

- Passport details

- Flight number and arrival date

- Address in Thailand

- Travel purpose

- Health Declaration Information

- Email for Receiving the TDAC

Dave Flago well that's the question. If you're on long term and don't fill it out you have a problem. You can't complete it.

I just checked.

Departure does not have red asterix and is not required.

But if you click into it, the website will want you to fill it out.

It's just a error on the website.
