If visa end date says for example 17th, does it mean that you can leave till 17th end of day? (11:59PM, 17th) or do you have to already be out on the 17th ?
btw - if you need just a few more days, say 2-3 days for some reason, is there a way to get that? or do you have to make a special extension for 1900thb ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The visa expiry date indicates that you must pass through immigration by midnight of that date. If your visa ends on the 17th, you need to leave before that date's end. Extensions are possible for 30 days at a cost of 1900 Baht, or if you've had a prior extension, you might qualify for a 7-day extension. Otherwise, an overstay incurs a fine of 500 Baht per day, which could lead to immigration issues later.
'Visa end" and "end of the permission of stay" are two different things.
Visa expiry date means that is the last day to can enter Thailand with that Visa and you get a permission of stay according to your visa type when you enter.
When you enter Thailand you get an entry stamp with the date of the last day of your permission of stay.
not clear, so 17th midnight? means i can fly during the 17th day? also yes i had 30 extension, to get another 7 do you need the whole process with the 1900thb, photos, etc ?
its very clear you must have passed through immigration before midnight of the 17th the plane can leave at 2am 18th it doesn't matter as once your thru immigration your not seen as being in Thailand
