Hi I was on amnesty because my non o married Visa ran out. I then got a 60 day extension which takes me to November 26. Am I possible to get another 60 days. I'm on an Irish passport but originally from England. No funds obviously to extend yet . Thanks for any help you can give. I'm in chiang mai.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, who originally held a NON-O married visa and is now on an amnesty extension, inquires about the possibility of obtaining another 60-day extension. The community response indicates that there's a new approach, where Irish passport holders can fill out a specific form without needing a letter from the embassy. One user mentions visiting the Chiang Mai immigration office and receiving a free extension until December 30 after some confusion about the process. It appears that individuals may still be able to obtain extensions, but varying experiences at immigration offices suggest it may be somewhat inconsistent.

Tod Daniel's just got back from chiang mai immigration and as far as covid unable to travel extension they didn't have a clue. There wasn't any forms there and the foreign helpers didn't know anything about it. But after only 10 minutes or so she gave me a free extension to 30th of December.
just to let you know and any Irish passport holders that the embassy told me there is no need for letters any more. You just fill out the new form and you should be ok for another 60 days. Thank you I will let you know how I get on tomorrow.
Does the Irish embassy here issue the "unable to travel due to covid" letter?
If they do, you need it to apply for a 60 day unable to travel extension, if they don't, you either print out the email they sent you saying they don't issue it or the screen shot from the webpage of the consulate here saying they don't issue it and THEN you go apply.
