Hi everyone! Does any of you have any experience with applying for a Thai tourist visa in Yangon, Myanmar? Does the Thai embassy in Yangon do 2month tourist visas? Or can you only apply for a 1month tourist visa? How many days would that take or is it ready the next day? Thanks so much for any tips or advice ๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thai embassy in Yangon issues Thai tourist visas, including a 60-day tourist visa, which can be applied for in person. It typically takes one day to process, as applicants can submit their application in the morning and collect it the next afternoon. It's advisable to prepare required documents carefully, especially if you have prior tourist visa history.
Yangon is said rather relaxing embassy / consulate regarding to getting SETV. they check your history on your passport, but is there any consulate they wouldn't? Vientiane does it for sure, too.
Hi James, thanks so much for your reply! I am from Belgium and currently in Thailand. I do have a bit of a history: entered Thailand in November on a visa exemption. Then went to Bali for two weeks and entered Thailand again in December on a second visa exemption, which I extended in January at Chiang Mai immigration. Did a land border run (Mae Sai) in February and am now due to extend at Chiang Mai immigration next week. Will be leaving Thailand 4th of April for Myanmar and stay there for two weeks. Then want to return to Thailand on a 2month tourist visa from Yangon embassy. Do you think that would be pushing my luck...?
