Can I get a 60-day tourist visa for Thailand in just two business days while in Hong Kong?

Hello!

Question about applying for 60-day tourist visa in Hong Kong with several extensions already.

Last week, I was questioned at Chiang Mai airport when I was returning from a border bounce. I've had about 8 visa-exempt entries and 8 extensions in the last two years. I showed the customs officer my onward ticket to Hong Kong. They let me enter Thailand but advised me to get a tourist visa for Thailand when I go to Hong Kong in November.

My question is: I am only in Hong Kong two business days (Monday and Tuesday). Is this enough time to get a tourist visa? What documents do they require?

(I know I'm taking a risk not having a proper visa and I am planning on getting an ED Visa early next year.)

Any advice would be much appreciated!

and no one can predict IF you will get the visa you want or be questioned when you come back into thailand. It's down to the consulate and the immigration officer you're standing in front of when you stamp in .

Good Luck...

1. You may not get a tourist visa in Hong Kong as they are pretty strict. 2. If you do, you still may get pull up trying to enter Thailand and refused even though you've got a visa. Id have the 3 proof ofs handy when you fly back.

You will still need two days to get a tourist visa in Hong Kong (got one in March)

I think you should apply at a location less strict? Or wait until New year and try for a tourist visa then. Like, take a breather so to speak

most likely Thai consulate in Hong Kong will not issue you a tourist visa with that history in your passport.

They are kinda strict..
