Can i extend it more than 30 days in advance? Say on 5th May for instance instead of 10th May onwards?
Answer summary
You can generally apply for a visa extension 30 days prior to its expiration. However, some immigration offices may accept applications up to 45 days before the due date. It's advisable to check with your local immigration office for their specific policies, as practices may vary. Additionally, some offices may require you to consult with them ahead of time to check your documents before your extension appointment.

Slightly off topic, but Jomtien were good enough to extend the 30 day period before inking to 60 days....
Some immigration offices accept applications up to 45 days before the due date, while most operate with a 30 day window. You should check with your local office.
