Regarding the covid extension, do I need to cite any reasons why I need it or do I just request it? Currently on a tr visa in nong khai. Many thanks 😊

Sadly, that is between you and the office you deal with.

Some offices are still handing them out for the asking, other offices want to see that you have a ticket out booked within the 60 days you'll get for the extension and other offices are giving only up until that ticket out as the extension.

So I'd head on over to see what they're doing up there in Nong Khai or post on a isaan related fb page and ask there.

You can't be the only foreigner up there who wants a covid extension 😉
