My husband is here on a non-immigrant RA visa that is valid until April 23, 2023. My visa is a non-immigrant O visa that is valid to July 21, 2022. The plan was that as soon as my husband gets his work permit, then I will take that & other needed documents to apply for an extension. At the moment, there is a problem with the work permit and it may not be resolved before my visa expires. Is there an extension I can apply for until the work permit situation is sorted out or should I make plans to leave the country?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is facing a dilemma due to their non-immigrant O visa expiring on July 21, 2022, while their husband's RA visa is valid until April 23, 2023, and his work permit has not yet been resolved. They are inquiring about options for extending their visa until the work permit situation is sorted out.
Is the R-A visa your husband got a year-long, multi-entry one AND was he stamped in for a whole year when he showed up?
It won't affect your process I just want to know if he has a year-multi-RA visa or not and if he was stamped in for a whole year when he showed up AND you were stamped in for 90 days because you had a single entry Non-O visa
then definitely take Roberts advice and BOTH of you go to the thai immigration office with your passports and see what the requirements are for you to get a matching extension that is valid as long as your husband's entry stamp. You're only wanting to get a "trailing spouse" extension and that shouldn't require more than the marriage certificates (possibly certified by your embassy here) his and your passport and not that much more documentation.
nope, you have a Non-O VISA, you'd go to the main office at Chaengwattana, and show them your husbands RA visa in his passport so you can be sent to the correct area to get the hand out listing the requirements
