TLDR : Answer Summary
A user seeks advice on how to extend their wife's stay in Thailand, as she is currently on a tourist visa while he holds a work permit (Non-B). Comments suggest options including applying for a Non-O visa based on her dependency on him, consulting immigration for specific visa requirements, and exploring retirement visa options if applicable.

you need to check with YOUR immigration office on whether your wife can or can't get a 90 day Non-O visa based on being married to a foreigner who has a Non-B and legally works here (you).

IF they can do it, they will tell you what you need.

I wouldn't waste a penny on translating anything until you find that out

If she is over 50 years old, she can get a retirement visa.

And what kind of retirement visa do you advice above the Non Immigrant O based on being a dependent without any financial requirements?

She can stay as your dependant, but she will need to come back in on an O visa. My wife was able to get her O visa at Immigration in Chaengwattana (she had a tourist visa) but I understand they will no longer do this.

I think they won't do it if you're on retirement extensions BUT they might still do it if the husband is on a non-b based on employment. I get conflicting reports on it. So it's best to go out there and check in Section C-1.

if you get the 1 year Extension of Stay based on working inside Thailand, your wife can apply for the Non Immigrant O visa as your dependent. After she got this visa at a Thai Consulate, she can apply for the Extension of STay to match your stay
