I currently hold a non IB Visa / work permit under the BOI. The company has informed me they wont be extending my contract. My current stamp in my passport states i have an extension of stay permitted until the 14th of feb 2022. I do have an offer from another BOI company but this will some time to organize. Is it possible to extend my current visa or do i have any other options other than leaving and coming back?

TLDR : Answer Summary
You cannot extend your current non-IB visa if your employer does not renew your contract. To extend your stay, you will need to apply through a new company. Your current visa's status must be cancelled on your last working day before a new application can be made.

You need a company to apply for an extension of stay based on employment. Your current stay has to be cancelled on your last working day and a new application must be made using the new company.

I do not know if you can meet any of the requirements of a Non Immigrant visa, if not there is no option

Thanks for your reply. As mentioned above the new company wont have the paperwork in time before the time my current extension of stay expires. My question is if there is a way to extend this until the new company gets things sorted on their end or there any other options for me other than having to leave the country on the 14th.
