Can I extend my Single Entry Non-B Visa before it expires if I have pending documents?

Hey Y'all

Im from the united states here on a Single entry non-b visa that is set to expire middle of this month.

I already have my work permit but i still need to do the 1 year extension.

At this point there were some errors and all of the documents may not be ready in time before my visa is expired.

Is there anyway to extend the non-b visa? (other than the 1 year extension)

Or must I leave the country and re apply for another non -b visa.

Thanks !

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is currently on a Single Entry Non-B Visa and needs to complete a one-year extension but is worried about the documents not being ready before the visa expires. They inquire if there is a way to extend their non-B visa or if they must leave Thailand and reapply.

Time to close. Who ever thinks the best option is to go into overstay, facing 500 thb fines with a maximum of 20.000 Thb, jail, court, deportation at own costs plus black list for max 99 years to give you employer time to do what he should have done during your 3 months of stay, is in my opinion .............. Sorry, i could not find a nice word for it. NEVER ever think of using overstay to arrange an Extension of Stay when ever your employer has time. When you walk out the office, step on your motorbike to go home and in the unlikely event you have an accident, yes i know accidents never happen in Thailand, and you are send to hospital your passport will be checked. Sorry, overstay and after your nice hospital visit it will be bye bye Thailand. Be warned and be careful out there.

The only way to apply for an Extension of Stay is when you have al documents, failure to meet requirements does not give you an Extension of Stay. As you have the Work Permit and with company documents (if ready) you can visit a Thai Consulate and apply for a new Single Entry Non Immigrant B visa

copy and paste: As you have the Work Permit and with company documents (if ready) you can visit a Thai Consulate and apply for a new Single Entry Non Immigrant B visa

You asked about the letter of employment from the Ministry of Labor and that specific letter you do not need again as you have the work permit. You still need all the other company documents to apply
Robert *******
no, you take the work permit and copies of it with you

If you are at the consulate, you apply in the morning and pick up the next working day in the afternoon.
