Hi to everyone, Can someone apply for a yearly extension of stay with employment at a limited partnership?

It is just one Thai and one foreigner. Foreigner have WP, 49% shares and is actually on a non-B multiple entry Visa. Because Lawyer told that it is not possible.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation centers around whether a foreigner holding 49% shares in a limited partnership can apply for a yearly extension of stay with employment in Thailand. A comment suggests that employing four Thai nationals for every foreigner is generally required unless the business falls under specific categories such as international trade or a branch office.

Great Info, thanks Robert.

You should employ 4 Thai people against 1 foreigner, unless your business is: (a) International trade business (representative office)

(b) Regional office

(c) Overseas company (branch office)
