I have my 3 month non-b Visa and work permit. If I get the multiple entry permit before I do the one year extension will the re-entry only be for 3 months or will it also extend when I extend the Visa. I don't have time to extend before needing to leave the country.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A multiple re-entry permit is only valid until the expiration of your current visa entry stamp. If you obtain a multiple re-entry permit on your 3-month non-B visa, the permit will only cover the period of your initial 90-day entry. Once you apply for a one-year extension, the multiple re-entry permit will not extend. If you need to leave and re-enter Thailand before the 90 days is over, consider obtaining a single re-entry permit to maintain your visa status.

nope a re-entry permit is only valid until the current entry stamp you have right now.

Getting a multiple re-entry permit now on your first 90 day entry of a single entry visa will mean when you get a yearly extension it will NOT be valid.

IF you need to leave the country and come back before the 90 days is up you can get a single re-entry permit which will keep that current expiration date "alive" so when you come back you're stamped in until that date
